FLL Mentorship
Within the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District (WBSD) we actively mentor 13 FLL teams across 6 schools. The goal of our mentorship is to cultivate the next generation of STEM professionals throughout our community.
Coach Trainings
We train coaches and student mentors to lead successful FLL Challenge teams, teaching everything from programming to navigating competitions.
Goon Squad FLL
FRC 3604 runs the local FLL Explore Expo, "Goon Squad FLL." Last year we engaged students from 19 FLL teams in 3 hands-on STEM activities and competition.
FRC Resources
We annually run 2 programming seminars for local teams at the FRC level. Additionally, we have published 14 programming repositories on GitHub.
FRC Events
We have run 4 FRC events since 2023, with 2 more lined up in the next year. We have rallied support from 2 industry partners to sponsor events (Bosch and Altair). 80% of all Altair-sponsored FRC events have been hosted and run within our venues.
Goonettes
The Goonettes Invitational is our annual all-girls FRC event. As the largest of its kind in the world, in the last 3 years we have engaged students from 41 school districts across MI, OH, & CAN.
FTC Mentorship
We mentor the WBSD FTC team (Goonies #8777) each year, inspiring middle schoolers to pursue a future in STEM.
FTC Camp
Each year we host and run a 7-week FTC Camp. This camp is an introductory robotics experience, guiding middle schoolers and transitioning members of FLL Challenge.
