Woodhaven
Week 2
Hosting our very own week 2 event was certainly a blast for our team! We had an amazing competition. Ending qualifiers as captains of the first alliance, we advanced all the way to finals and emerged victorious! Our squad worked hard all year on our outreach, and it paid off. We also won the impact award. What a way to start our season!
Livonia
Week 4
Livonia was an amazing competition! After some exciting qualifications, we were captains of the 3rd alliance! Ending 3rd overall in the competition and 8th in the state, we also won the Excellence in Engineering award! This competition was a joy to attend.
Michigan State Championship
Week 6
The State Championship never fails to wow us! We had such an amazing time talking to the talent from across the state and seeing everyone's creativity. During qualifications we were in rank 35, and were alliance 7's second pick. After climbing the bracket, we won the APTIV field! After dropping out of the ranks in the semifinals, we waited (im)patiently for the awards. For the first time in Goon Squad history, we won the impact award at states! We are so grateful, but it was just about time to pack it up and head to Texas!

World Championship
Week 8
After a 20 hour bus ride and a goodnight's rest, it was time for the Goon Squad to attend the world championship! Between exploring the venue and having an exciting encounter with Mark Rober, we were the 5th alliance's first pick on the Galileo field and made it all the way to the double elimination bracket, dropping out in semi finals. We are so grateful for this season and the opportunities it provided us. To many more!
